Strategy
Refine CDC's visual identity, elevate its visual voice, and modernize the logo mark to reflect a more connected global community—building in the flexibility needed to engage diverse audiences and messaging needs.
Application
Drew on science-based color and shape psychology to develop engaging, broadly resonant color palettes alongside dynamic color families tailored to specific audiences and messages. Paired this with evergreen, scalable typography and inviting graphic elements designed to draw viewers in.
Outcome
The refreshed logo mark and accompanying brand identity standards were rolled out globally and embraced across CDC sectors, resulting in a more cohesive visual presence across platforms. This drove measurable increases in website and social traffic, along with stronger public engagement across CDC's multi-channel ratings. View full case study.
