Led the creation of global public health visual communications and design systems including a CDC-wide identity refresh with accompanying comprehensive brand guide, creating award-winning, large-scale multimedia/social campaigns, message-specific brand packages, and complex visual identities for a variety of audiences.

Brand Identity + Design Leading at CDC

  • Art Directed the creation of CDC’s first comprehensive brand identity standards for global rollout. Led creative and collaborated to evolve CDC’s main logo mark and create detailed brand identity guidelines including science-based color palette, color families, design elements, typography, gradients, and usage.   • Led the creation of an identity system to support CDC’s Mpox global health response, considering target audience and social barriers. Created in-house illustrations to support products that garnered 86mm social reach and achieved CDC award for response time/social reach.

  • Collaboratively designed a brand identity system to support CDC’s first COVID-19 response campaign targeting millennials including an icon library and multi-media campaign with considerations surrounding global stigma and avoiding fear-based messaging. Led design for social graphics and campaign visuals. Social campaign achieved the highest Instagram reach with 30k+ likes.
